Parking is available but limited in the lay-by. Again we please request that members do not park up the farm lane or in the farm itself.
Directions:- From Sacriston follow the B6532 (Edmondsley Lane) towards Edmondsley away from Durham. Turn left at Edmondsley crossroads towards Holmside, down Fleece Terrace (marked on map). Drive 200 yards and park in the first lay-by on the left. Gate visible from roadside.

Tursdale Pond.
Water is closed annually :- April 1st to May 31st
Tursdale pond is our largest venue (approx. 1.5acres) and is generally more quieter than Edmondsley pond. So if peace and quiet is what you require then Tursdale is the venue for you! The pond offers 17 well spaced pegs but there is a lot more water to aim at and search out.
Again Tursdale is a mixed fishery holding such species as Rudd, Roach, Gudgeon, Tench, Ide, Bronze Bream, Skimmers, Mirror/Common Carp and F1's. The pond has an average depth of 10ft but can be up to 15ft in places meaning fishing can be challenging. However rewards can be great for the thinking angler! Anglers have noted that several double figure Carp are resident and a recent stocking of over 300 - 5lb to 8lb fish have been stocked as well as a 1200 f1s.
Please note that any Junior member fishing this venue must be accompanied by an adult member, again due to the depth of the venue. On many pegs it is very deep close in so please be vigilant.
Directions:- From the A1 junction 61, take the A688 south towards Tursdale (past service station on left). Continue down until you reach a traffic island, take the A177 towards Coxhoe (first exit), 300 yards on the left is a small bungalow, just after the bungalow there is a metal farm gate, turn off the road, go through the gate and drive up the farm track. You will pass a pond on the left (this pond is private. Do not fish!) continue along the track and LPAA's pond will show on the right hand side. Please park off the track itself as the farmer requires access.
Again please dip nets in the dip provided before fishing.
