Club Rules.
All LPAA members must abide by the club rules at all times! Not knowing the club rules is NOT an excuse!! Any member found not abiding by club rules will face the possibility of expulsion from the club. Rules and regulations are produced for the protection of our fishery's and fish stocks please follow them. Langley Park Angling Association requires that ALL members when fishing club waters, pleasure or matches (including matches at non club venues) be in possession of an annual Rod Licence which are available from your local Post Office or through the internet.

Water Rules.
Water Rules With Langley Park Angling Association having 2 lakes. The fishing rights on the River Browney are no longer available. We ask that you follow some simple rules when fishing at any of our venues.

Edmondsley Pond: (Please refer to updated rules in rulebook and signboards)
Tursdale Pond: Water is closed April 1st to May 31st (inclusive).
- Members of the club must not sell any fish directly or indirectly caught by him or her in the waters of the club. A breach of this rule entails immediate forfeiture of membership.
- Every member of the club shall do everything in his or her power to prevent poaching and shall give information to the Secretary, Police Officer or Water Bailiff against any person or persons seen fishing in contravention of these Rules and Regulations.

0800 807060 - All members must keep to the waterside or roadway granted, close all gates and must not trespass on any land. If any be known to break fences, damage trees, crops, river banks, insulting any landlords, tenants or his servant in whose vicinity he or she may be fishing, on being reported to the Officers and Committee the Officers and Committee shall hold a meeting and if proved guilty he or she will be expelled from the club.
- Anglers are requested to be careful to determine the boundaries of the water to which the club has control. Any person fishing in any private water, which may adjoin or intersect the club waters is liable to forfeiture of membership.
- Each person must possess a disgorger.
- Any member allowing a non-member to use his or her rod permit will be suspended from the club.
- Any member detected in illegal fishing shall forfeit their membership at once.
- Members must possess an appropriate fishing license before fishing; any Pike caught are to be removed from club waters.
- Members at all times must produce their permit and allow the fish in their collection to be inspected on demand from any authorised Bailiff, police officer or other member of the club who produces their permit.
- Landing nets must be used on club waters.
- Rods must not be left unattended.
- A passport sized photograph must be enclosed with any application for membership to the club.
- At the end of a pleasure fishing session fish must be returned to the water as quickly and with as little stress to the fish as possible.
- Membership cards must be carried at ALL times.
- Remove ALL litter and discarded line even if it does not belong to you. Any person leaving litter on the water to be reported to club bailiffs.
- Fishing is from dawn till dusk.
- No disorderly conduct or obscene language is allowed. Members found guilty of either will be subject to disciplinary action.
- Junior members must be accompanied by an adult person at Tursdale pond however at Edmondsley pond, juniors can fish by themselves from the age of 13.
Water Rules.

- No Groundbait allowed.
- Barbless Hooks only.
- Access through the main gate (via lay by) only. Not via farm lane.
- No parking in the farm lane or in the farm itself.
- All nets must be dipped, this includes landing nets.
Tursdale Pond: Water is closed April 1st to May 31st (inclusive).
- 4lbs of groundbait per day.
- No Boilles allowed.
- 2 rods may be used, one for Carp use only.
- No exchange permits on this water.
- No juniors members unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
- All nets must be dipped, this includes landing nets.
- Please be aware of River close seasons and close seasons for Game fish.
